The Pacific Ski Club BootPress October 2012Reviews2012 Summer OK’sWOW – what a weekend it was! We might have been small in numbers, but we were large in presence. Pacific Sipping Caesers(PSC) never looked so good or partied so hard before. For those of you who missed (including some of you can’t remember theweekend), it was a blast and a half. The Pacific team scored all weekend long, coming in first, second or third in most events. Evenwith the change in rules for Beer Drinking, we still ruled the hops.A weekend like this can’t happen though without the help of many, many people. I am going to do my best to capture everyone,but I know I am going to miss some of you, but please know that my thanks are still heartfelt.So many thanks to the following:• Tania LePage, Christine Roberts, Liz Simon, Dave Mouck, Chris Roberts Bryan Freeman for manning the WelcomingCommittee shifts. A special thanks to Mouckie for the stockade.• Mimi & her serfs for getting the food ready and delivered for the wine & cheese party.• Greg Palm, Dave Reid, & Chris Thomas who came out at 4:30 to help build the stage!• Bryan Freeman and his serf for hanging the banner• Dave Mouck, Chris Thomas, Dave Pagani, & Tania LePage for being awesome Virgin Royalty and ensuring that our virginshad a blast!!• Tania LePage for stepping up and being a fabulous Team Captain and making sure we had a team for every event• Liz Simon and her serfs for running an excellent People Bowling event – again it was the hit of Saturday afternoon• To all the Virgins who participated in the Virgin Review – you performed wonderfully Unde Pressure!• Marcy Smith, Chris Piedt and their crew for a fabulous Bush and Tush act• Mandy Sarfi and Rebecca Strader for keeping us all organized behind stage on Saturday night• Shannon Chadwick and Peter Cardin for getting those props and people on and off the stage quickly and safely• Liz Simon, Bryan Freeman and Mimi Chung for stepping up and taking charge of the Saturday night party• Bryan Freeman for organizing our beer drinking trials• Becca Littke, Marcy Smith, Furbie, and Dan Moscrip for slamming the Beer Drinking contest and bringing the trophy homeonce more• Joseph Quan for taking on the videoing project lead• Mandy Sarfi & Rebecca Strader for getting the Sunday dinner organized and served (plus all their other helpers)• Dave Reid (aka Neil Diamond), Liz Simon, Christine Roberts, Mimi Chung & Bryan Freeman for their Sweet Carolineperformance – just like the original it was the #1 hit of the evening!Last but by no means least to my amazing assistant for the weekend – LIZ SIMON!!!! She did such a great job, she has beenpromoted to Co-Coordinator for next year.I hope I haven’t forgotten anyone and if I have, I do apologize – please blame it on my fuzzy memory of the weekend, brought onby too much Jell-ONow – for a word from one of our virgins…NancyCan’t believe its already a week since I was scrambling to get my butt up to Sicamous for the Summer OKs...Glad I did - was the most fun I’ve had in a very long time.Thank you for all your work organizing the event - as a former TV producer I understand the incredible amount of effort andplanning (and teamwork) that went into making it such a fantastic weekend.The people I met were amazing, creative, welcoming, fun and full of life!I look forward to participating in other PSC events and will count the 51 remaining weeks till it happens again...Until next year ….Love you guyswww.pacificskiclub.com Page 7
