The title of HelsinkiMenu Restaurant of the Year 2006went to the Restaurant Havis, which serves gourmet fish and seafood.The selection criteria for the title of HelsinkiMenuRestaurant of the Year emphasised the desires andneeds of demanding tourists, as well as corporateand congress guests. Havis was praised especiallyfor its interesting presentation of the HelsinkiMenu,the high quality of its dishes, its excellent drinkrecommendations and attentive service.“Havis is very much a Scandinavian restaurant.The aromas of our Northern nature can be tastedespecially in our HelsinkiMenu, as well as in our othermenus,” describes Head Chef Jyri Hänninen.“The stories we provide about the localingredients used for our HelsinkiMenu dishes offerinteresting topics of conversation at the table.
