Bonn Newcomer Guide<br />
As an owner of a television set, radio, PC or Video/TV you must register each piece of equipment and<br />
pay a licence fee. The charge is based on the number of radios / televisions you have in your house.<br />
Applications can be picked up in any Post Office and some banks. The cost is approximately 53<br />
Euros/quarter. If you are caught operating any of these appliances without a license, you will be fined<br />

12.20 Library<br />
There are two main libraries:<br />
The “Stadtbibliothek” in Bonn and<br />
The “Bezirksbibliothek” in Bad Godesberg. (Corner of Bonner/Moltke Strasse)<br />
The Bad Godesberg library received a donation of the contents of a store, which used to rent out<br />
English language videos. There are over 2000 English language videos available. You will need to<br />
join the library. There is a yearly borrowing charge.<br />
