FAX: 773 792-2129LEVER-LITE ® IIISERIES 84000 - ILLUMINATED LEVER SWITCHESLever-Lite ® III illuminated lever switches are designed forfront-of-panel mounting, relamping, terminating, colorchanges and removal. A minimum of time is required to installsingly, in rows, or in matrix arrays to meet a wide variety ofswitching applications. 2- and 3-position types are available innon-locking functions. Mounts on .875" (22.22 mm) horizontalcenters or 1.5" (38.1 mm) vertical centers. Talk-listen(intercom) function is also available. Illumination techniqueprovides a different color for each lever position.LAMPSStandard T 1-3/4" midget flange-base lamps (not supplied)are available in voltages up to 28V.SPECIAL ORDER FEATURES1. Talk-Listen (Intercom) function.2. Welded cross bar gold alloy for dry circuit and silvercontacts are available. Next, grasplever and pull lever assembly free. Insertswitch into panel hole.Turn two internal screws clockwise withscrewdriver to securely mount switchto panel.Replace lever assembly and “snap”escutcheon into place. Installationcomplete!RELAMPING/REPLACINGCOLOR FILTERSLever-Lite III switches are designed for simplified lamp installation and replacement,and color filter changes or custom installation in the field or on the OEM productionline. Lamps and filters may be changed at any time with ease and withoutdismounting switch from panel or disturbing wiring.Remove escutcheon and leverassembly. (see “MOUNTING” above)For relamping, pull lamp out ofretainer with finger-tip. Replace lamp.For color filters, use fingernails orsmall screwdriver to remove. Gentlylift (don’t pry) up under edge offilter until it “pops” out.Place new filter in position and pressuntil it “snaps” in.
