Here's how to add your own colors to the swatchset.1. Click the foreground color swatch in the toolbox.2. Use the Color Picker to select the desired color and click OK.3. Open the Swatches palette (Window Swatches).4. Clicking the lower-right corner of the Swatches palette, drag the window out so that it resembles the one in Figure 8.8.Figure 8.8. Adding a new color to the Swatches palette.[View full size image]5. Move your cursor into the space below the existing swatches. It changes into the Paint Bucket tool.6. Click anywhere in the unused space, and the new color is added after the existing colors. You'll be asked to give the new color aname.If you use a lot of the same colors over and over, and they are not represented in any of the palettes that ship with <strong>Photoshop</strong>, just elect tosave a palette. You can copy colors from photos, from scanner art, even from your desktop. Choose Save Swatches from the Swatches
