1877: Anti-DuhringIII were combined into a secondpamphlet.In early July 1878, the completework was first published as a book --with an added preface by Engels. InOctober 1878, Germany'sAnti-Socialist Law was instituted andAnti-Dühring was banned along withEngels' other works. In 1886, asecond edition appeared in Zurich.The third, revised and supplementededition was published in Stuttgart, in1894, i.e., after the Anti-SocialistLaw was repealed (1890). This wasthe last edition during Engels'lifetime.
