There is no “retroactive” registration! If you haveregistered a non-credit internship, it is impossible to change to a credit bearing option and vice versa.A convention de stage (French internship contract) will only be issued before the internship is to begin, but afterthe internship has been registered and conditions indicated are met.You must be currently enrolled at AUP as a full-time degree-seeking student.An incomplete grade (IN) will show on your transcript until all your assignments have been evaluated by yourfaculty reader. No diplomas/proof of graduation can be provided to students holding an incomplete grade!However holding an incomplete grade will not prolong your student status!For internships in France you must provide proof of relevant health insurance coverage for the whole period ofthe internship (validity dates), indicating countries where coverage is applicable.If you are not an EU citizen, your carte de séjour must be valid for the duration of the internship in France. If yourCDS or health insurance expires during the internship, this will be mentioned in your convention de stage and itis your responsibility to initiate the renewal process as soon as it is possible.You should be in good academic standing (GPA of 3.0 or above).Internships for credit can be maximum 9 months long!For internships outside of France, it is advisable to verify whether proof of student status and a relevant visa willbe required. We also recommend obtaining appropriate health insurance, unless covered under the employer’shealth plan during the internship.While pursuing an internship, the student agrees to adhere to the company/organization’s guidelines foremployee behavior and the University’s standard of conduct at all times.
