Al-Kāfirūn (The Unbelievers)monotheism whose concepts, values, beliefs and laws cover all aspects of human lifeand are all received from God and no one else.Without this basic separation confusion, double-dealing, doubt and distortion willcertainly persist. And let it be clear in our minds here that the movement advocatingIslam can never be constructed on any ambiguous or feeble foundations, but has tobe built upon firmness, explicitness, frankness and fortitude as embodied in God’sinstruction to us to declare: “You have your own religion, and I have mine.” (Verse 6)Such was the way adopted by the Islamic message in its early days.277
