Six-year limited warranty.APPLICATIONRED LINE® Wheeled Fire Extinguishers are manufactured to provideprotection for hazardous areas where the potential for large fire exists.They can be strategically located to provide maximum protection for awide variety of hazards, while taking up a minimum of space, and requiringonly one trained person for operation.These extinguishers are available with three types of Ansul dry chemicalextinguishing agents giving them the versatility to protect many types offire hazards.This wheeled extinguisher is completely self-contained. An attachednitrogen cylinder is the only pressure source required to completelyexpel the fire extinguishing agent. The pressure remaining in the tankafter operation is sufficient for cleaning dry chemical from the dischargehose.Some typical applications include paint spray booths, dip and quenchtanks, offshore platforms, loading racks, fuel storage areas, airports, andheavy manufacturing operations.RED LINE® CR-K-350-C006501SPECIFICATIONAgent Tank – The extinguisher tank shall be of welded steel constructionwith two elliptical dished heads and welded circumferential seams.The tank shall be designed and constructed for a working pressure of250 psi (17.2 bar). The top of the tank shall be fitted with a 4 in. (10 cm)I.D. fill opening.Nitrogen Cylinder and Valve – The nitrogen cylinder shall be mountedin a vertical position. Such mounting shall permit easy access to thecylinder. This cylinder shall be a 110 cu. ft. (3.11 m 3 ) for the 150-C and a220 cu. ft. (6.23 m 3 ) for the 350-C. Both shall be Medical “E” nitrogencylinders.Each cylinder shall be equipped with a conventional hand wheel nitrogencylinder valve and visual pressure gauge. A quick-opening valveshall be available as an option. Both valves shall be UL Iisted.Hoses and Nozzles – The discharge hose shall be UL Listed, equippedwith chrome plated brass couplings and 3/4 to 1 in. (2 to 2.5 cm) I.D. Itshall utilize a pin prick outside cover to permit diffusion of gases.The nozzle shall consist of a two-position ball valve and barrel. Thenozzle barrel shall be a three-hole cone tip. The nozzle ball valveassembly shall be chrome-plated brass.006502Nameplates – The nameplate shall be glare-resistant etched aluminum.It shall contain hazard identification plus operating and maintenanceinstructions.Finish – In addition to the standard surface preparation procedures, thesteel parts shall be primed using a zinc rich primer with a minimum zinccontent of 90%. The top coat shall be an epoxy paint applied as a liquidand oven or air cured. The dry film shall be continuous and a minimumthickness of 5-7 mils. The fill cap and nozzle body shall be blackanodized for added corrosion resistance.Temperature – Standard models are equipped with nitrogen cylinderswhich are listed and approved for operation in environments withtemperatures between –40 °F (–40 °C) to 120 °F (48.8 °C).
