9Procedures of theNational Monitoring Committee onCode of Conduct on Ceasefire 20061. Name: National Monitoring Committee on Code of Conduct onCeasefire 2006.2. Date of Commencement: These procedures shall come intoforce on the date of its approval by the talks teams, after theiradoption by the meeting of the Committee.3. Definitions:(a) ‘Committee’ means the National Monitoring Committee on Codeof Conduct on Ceasefire.(b) ‘Talks teams’ means the talks teams of the Government of Nepaland the CPN (Maoist).(c) ‘Coordinator’ means the coordinator of the committee.(d) ‘Member’ means the member of the committee.(e) ‘Code of Conduct’ means the 25-Point Code of Conduct onCeasefire framed after an agreement between the Governmentof Nepal and the CPN (Maoist) on May 26, 2006.(f)‘Procedures’ means the procedures of the National MonitoringCommittee on Code of Conduct on Ceasefire 2006.(g) ‘Office’ means the central office or the other offices of thecommittee.(h) ‘Joint Committee’ means the joint committee to be formed bythe talks teams.25
