The DeRoyal Genum line has been developed to meetour customer's requirements from enhanced wearercomfort through improved anatomical fit,to better stability through improved Biomechanical function. We have spent considerabletime developing new textile materials for this product line such as NeoTex and Tri Tex.Both of which were designed for optimal function, in knee braces.Both lines have a characteristic “Slightly Flexed” anatomical shape, which is mostapparent on the two piece NeoTex and three piece TriTex designs. This advancement inKnee brace design helps reduce excess material in the knee fold and provides an optimalfit. Due to the sensitivity of the ”Knee Fold”, we have made the material in this areathinner and softer to prevent rubbing or pinching. In each TriTex model, we have used anactive breathing material called SoftTex, which increase comfort in the knee fold.NeoTexNeoTex – “NT”. This materials design, is based on a premiumair cellular rubber, where its unique properties of heat insulation,optimal stretch and low weight, make it ideal for the activeperson, who needs a functional and durable support.TriTexTriTex – “T3” uses a unique three-dimensional weaving technique,and a high quality specially developed yarn. This material is fastestablishing itself as “the” Sport Rehabilitation material for the 21stcentury. The T3 material provides elasticity, compression, shockabsorption and optimal ventilation, leaving the skin dry, the tissuessupported and protected and the temperature comfortable.SoftTexSoftTex – “ST”. A micro-porous textile, that allows moisture toevaporate from the skin surface and give an optimal comfortwhere it is required. SoftTex, is used, in the knee fold of the “TriTex”line.Quad-StrapTMQuad-Strap is a silicone strape that prevents brace-migation duringactivity. The strap has been placed over the Quadriceps. Duringflexion there is an increased risk that the brace is "pumped" down.The special angle makes the strap more effective in holding thebrace in place. When the knee is extended the strap will follow theupward motion of the quadriceps preventing migration effectively.The strap has been designed with a unique formulated silicone that isskin friendly with a high friction and very high elasticity.Living Proof

EU4010 EU4110Genum Liga ROM Long NeoTexThe models 4010/4110 have been improved on several points aftersuggestions from customers. The new ROM-hinge is made from astainless steel allow which makes it completely maintenance free.The range of motion control in extension and flexion have beensupplemented with the possibility to immobilize in 0, 20, 40 and60 degrees. This makes the orthosis even more versatile as it canbe used for short-term post operative use. The hinge is fixatedwith pins that are secured with a plastic cap. The hinge pocket hasbeen improved to keep the ROM-hinge completely encapsulatedto ensure an optimal comfort and fit. The opening for the hingeis in the upper-back portion. That ensures that it's secure duringactivity but can be removed easily when needed. Themodel has four half circular straps that can be adjustedindividually. Genum Liga ROM Ease Long NeoTexA new model based on the EU4010/EU110. Made with a fulllength anterior opening to make application easier during postoperativeuse.
