Tests“Transformers should be seenand not heard”Reducing transformers’ noise emissions is becomingincreasingly important. This is why, in addition to thestandard design (DIN EN50464), SGB transformers arealso available with reduced loss and noise levels.Alongside the selection of the appropriate inductionand core material, the method of dovetailing legs andyokes in step-lap design has a positive impact onthe transformers‘ noise emissions and losses.
