Tests“<strong>Transformers</strong> should be seenand not heard”Reducing transformers’ noise emissions is becomingincreasingly important. This is why, in addition to thestandard design (DIN EN50464), <strong>SGB</strong> transformers arealso available with reduced loss and noise levels.Alongside the selection <strong>of</strong> the appropriate inductionand core material, the method <strong>of</strong> dovetailing legs andyokes in step-lap design has a positive impact onthe transformers‘ noise emissions and losses.
