The Register meeting followed.Attendance:Present were: Peter and Judy Goodale, Peter andRos Holland, Julian and Moira Lugg, Robin andDeidre Ide, Sue and Doug Harrison, Peg and RodDavis, Ossie and Rayeena Petrucco, Roger and DiAdamson, Onslow and Wendy Billinghurst, Graemeand Fiona Schultz, John and Lindsey Williams, JohnDunning and new member and XK120 owner,Trevor Bywater. Apologies were received from:Richard and Carla Smith, Jack and Sally Metzer,Lyn Hughes, Russell Clarke and Jenny Hales, RobSmith and Rob and Vicki L<strong>of</strong>fler.Business:<strong>Club</strong> Business.The attention <strong>of</strong> members was drawn to a number <strong>of</strong>matters:A comprehensive guide to the requirements for HistoricRegistration is in the March <strong>Classic</strong> <strong>Marque</strong>.We have been asked to provide current e-mail addressesto Membership Officer, Daphne Charman.Information was provided on movie nights for theVolvo Vikings on 6 March and 24 March.Members provided numbers to Peter Holland for thebarbeque lunch and the restaurant at Penny’s HillWinery which is the <strong>Club</strong>’s nominated site for theMcLaren Vale Vintage and <strong>Classic</strong> on Sun. 28 <strong>April</strong>.Register Business:Register business focussed on firming up our programme<strong>of</strong> activities for the remainder <strong>of</strong> the year.After brief discussion on each <strong>of</strong> the following topicsit was agreed that:Due to cost <strong>of</strong> accommodation we would not go toBungaree but would seek to join in the JOCCERStrip to Spear Creek on the weekend <strong>of</strong> 4,5 May.Robin will provide more information by e-mail.Spirit <strong>of</strong> Coorong trip will be in August. Approximately16 people expressed interest in a mid-weektour which will cost about $100 per person and includelunch and two walks. Final arrangements,which will be coordinated by Peg, will need to besettled at our May meeting.The <strong>2013</strong> Border Run will be hosted by Victoria onthe weekend 25-27 October. In response to optionssuggested by Victoria our preference is for Bendigoto be the site. Robin to advise Gerry.It is planned to have a November half day run oneither the 17 th or the 24 th . Details TBAThe <strong>April</strong> register meeting will be at Peter and JudyGoodales’ on Sunday the 7 th .The May meeting will be at Rod and Peg Davis’s onWednesday 1 May.Robin closed the meeting with thanks to Graemeand Fiona for their hosting.Our picnic lunches soon followed and were topped<strong>of</strong>f with Fiona’s apple pie and cream. We went for ashort walk through the orchard to compensate. Thistook us to a honey processing facility installed inwonderful stone buildings. A good day was had byall. As some-one said, ‘it sure beats messingaround underneath a <strong>Jaguar</strong>’.9
