This program is designed toprepare students for employment as a cable installer, cable tester, cable technician, or to provide supplemental training to personspreviously or currently employed in these occupations. More specifically, students will be able to use the various types of precision testequipment found in general use throughout the electronics industry for the purpose of analyzing, troubleshooting and repairing electroniccircuitry.Outcomes:Graduates of the program will be able to:1. Assess the effectiveness of transmission and distribution systems.2. Demonstrate knowledge of basic electronics.3. Analyze proficiency of transmission and distribution systems.4. Evaluate proficiency in network communications.5. Analyze proficiency of telephony communication systems.6.
