JAMES O’DELLDirector of the Concord BandJames O’Dell has been professionally active in instrumental music and musiceducation for the past thirty-one years. Mr. O’Dell holds a Bachelor of Sciencein Music Education from Southern Oregon University and a Master of Musicin Tuba, Euphonium, and Bass Trombone Performance from the University ofOregon. His graduate work also included residency at Arizona State Universityin the DMA program. Mr. O’Dell has been Associate Dean of the Conservatoryat The Boston Conservatory since 2002, serving as Interim Dean 2008-2009, andDirector of the Conservatory’s Music Division from 1995-2002.
