The special design is a customhybrid of a classic 1970s Hagstrom model H-IIN-OT and the modern-day F-200. Smear chose the Hagstrom“Custom 58” pickups to specifically voice thisinstrument to produce a steady and solid tone. Eachguitar is built by the same machines, people,materials and specifications that went intoeach of Smear’s own guitars.
