Denna sats är konstruerad för att återge musikenpå ett naturtroget sätt och är bland det bästa som finns på marknaden.Men det är ändå oerhört viktigt att följa monteringsråden.En slarvig montering gör att även ett bra högtalarsystem kan låtadåligt.MONTERING:Baselement 5,25" / 6,5":Montera högtalaren i dörrsidan. Om det finns möjlighet så förstärkmed en baffel av MDF-board eller liknande. En montering högtupp på dörrsidan ger oftast den bästa ljudåtergivningen. Ett alternativär montering i så kallad kickpanel vid bilens torpedväggarmed högtalarna riktade snett uppåt / framåt. För bästa resultat börelementet monteras i en sluten låda på maximalt 5-6 liter. Alternativti en s.k. membranlåda på 2-3 liter. Montering i dörrsida utanlåda minskar effekttåligheten, elementet kan "slå igenom" vid högvolym, effekttåligheten minskar och även basåtergivningen blirsämre. I ett system med separat subwoofer och aktiv frekvensdelningbör systemet frekvensdelas med ett högpassfilter vid120-150 Hz.I system med subwoofer med passiv delning använd en bipolärkondensator på 150 - 200 µF i serie med baselementet.Det är viktigt att baselementet monteras stadigt och att samtligaskruvar dras lika mycket så att korgen inte blir skev.2,5" mellanregisterelement UR2,5:Monteras högt upp i dörrsida eller i instrumentbrädans uttag.Ingen låda erfordras normalt till dessa. Vid montering uppe påinstrumentbrädan blir oftast nivån på mellanregistret hög, sätt dånivån i filtret på låg nivå (J1). Tycker du fortfarande att nivån är förhög så montera ett motstånd på ca 3-5 ohm ( 5 Watts effekt) i seriemed kabeln till elementet.1" tweeter UR1:Diskanterna monteras så nära bas/mellanregisterelementen sommöjligt, alternativt på instrumentbrädan. Finns färdiga uttag så använddessa även om det kan kräva lite jobb för anpassning.Med bipackade tillbehör kan diskanten monteras utanpåliggandeeller infällt i dörrsida. Om mellanregisterelementen sitter iinstrumentbrädans uttag bör diskanterna monteras på A-stolparnariktade mot varandra för att få bästa ljudbild.Nivån till tweetrarna kan justeras i två steg inuti filtret på J2. Inuti filtret finns fyra hål för fastsättning. Lockettas av genom att klämma ihop locket på sidorna och lyfta uppåt.Undvik att placera filtren nära bilens egna kabelstammar, dettakan orsaka störningar. Se till så att högtalarkablarna inte kommer ikläm någonstans, de kan då kortsluta till jord och orsaka dyra reparationerav stereo eller slutsteg.Bashögtalarens galler fästs i sin plastram med hjälp av medföljandekitt som fördelas jämnt i plastramens spår. Om du kör systemet ihop med en subbasså prova att fasvända 5,25 / 6,5 " elementen eller subbasenför att erhålla bästa basåtergivning.Om du kör systemet utan någon midbas ansluten till filtretmåste du ta bort bygeln som sitter i serie med drosseln på 1,8mH i filtret, annars kan slutsteget skadas.KONTROLL AV HÖGTALARNAS FASNINGDu kan kontrollera högtalarnas fasning (polaritet) med hjälp avett vanligt 1,5 volts ficklampsbatteri.Anslut en kabel från batteriets plus-pol till högtalarens d:o ochen kabel från batteriets minus-pol till högtalarens minus.Om du kopplat högtalarna rätt skall konen nu röra sig åtsamma håll (normalt utåt) på både höger och vänster kanal(fungerar ej på midrange och tweeter).Denna kontroll gör du på kablarna som ansluts till högtalarutgångarnapå bilstereon eller slutsteget.Har du ett extra passivt högpassfilter inkopplat till baselementetså kan du inte se något utslag på konen, då måstedu först koppla bort filtret.

This kit isdesigned to reproduce the music in a natural way and it is thebest there is on the market. In order to get the best soundpossible from your speakers we advice you to read and follow thisinstruction. A poor installation can ruin the sound from even themost expensive speaker system.MOUNTING:Bass element 5,25" / 6,5"Mount the speakers in the door side. If possible reinforce with abaffle of MDF-board or similar. A mounting high up on the doorside is to be prefered. An alternative mounting is in kick panelsdown on the floor on each side with the speakers facing up- andinwards towards the listener. The best result will be achievedusing sealed boxes for the elements, 5-6 liters maximum. It is alsopossible to use a membrane box of 2-3 liters. A mounting in thedoor side without the use of boxes will lower the power handlingcapacity, the cone movement will be too large causing a bad bassreproduction. In a system with a separate subwoofer, and activecrossover, the system should be used with a 120-150 Hz highpassx-over. When using a passive x-over to the subwoofer,connect a 150 - 200 µF capacitor in series with the 5,25" / 6,5"bass element.It is important to fasten the speakers properly in order to avoidbad sound and rattling.2,5" midrange element UR2,5:Should be mounted high up in the door side or in the dashboard.Normally these speakers don´t require any box. When themidrange is mounted high up in the dashboard the mid levelbecomes high. If so use the low mid level in the filter box (jumperJ1). If the level is still too high, connect a 3-5 ohm resistor inseries with the speaker + feed.1" tweeter UR1:A tweeter mounting together with the bass/mid element is to beprefered. The tweeter can also be mounted on the dash-board orrecessed in the door using the delivered tweeter accessories. Ifthe midrange elements are mounted in the dashboard the bestsound stage will be achieved by mounting the tweeters in the frontside posts directed towards each other. The tweeter level can beadjusted inside the filter box with jumper J2.THE KIT CONTAINS:2 pcs bass speakers, UR5S / UR6S, with grilles2 pcs midrange speakers UR2,5 with grilles2 pcs tweeters UR1 with mounting accessories2 pcs passive crossover boxesCONNECTION:The drawing shows the connection of a 3-way system to one channel.The other channel is connected in the same way. The tweeter and midlevels are adjustable in two steps as described below:Tweeter level:High = jumper mounted between pin 2-4.Low = jumper mounted between pin 1-2.Midrange level:High = jumper mounted between pin 2-4.Low = jumper mounted between pin 1-2.Jumper J3 is used when you want to run the system without midbass driver. In this casesome components inside the filter must be disconnected. Don´t place them close to the cars cablemats, this can cause interfering sounds. Make sure the cablesdon´t get jammed causing a short circuit to ground. This candamage the amplifier circuits. Both tweeter and midrange levelscan be adjusted in two steps inside the filter box by moving thetwo jumpers J1 and J2. Make your own tests for best result. Toremove the cover just press on both sides and lift it upwards.NOTE! The filters must be used. If the tweeters are connectedwithout filters they may be damaged and the sound reproductionwill be bad.The speaker grilles are mounted in the plastic speaker frame bythe use of the rubber coumpound coming with the system. If the system is usedtogether with a subwoofer try to phase reverse this also.If you run the system without the midbass element connected tothe filter you must disconnect it using the jumper inside the filterbox .SPEAKER PHASINGTo be sure to have the correct speaker polarity (phase) youcan check this by using a 1,5 Volt battery.Connect a cable from the battery plus-pole to the speakerplus, and a cable from the battery minus to the speaker minus.If the speakers are correctly connected the speaker coneshould move in the same direction on both right and leftchannel (normally outwards). This is not working on mid andtweeter elements.This control must be made on the cables that goes to thespeaker terminals of your car stereo or amplifier. If you havean extra highpass filter in line with the bass element you can´tsee any cone movement, you must first disconnect the filter.-
