The Carey Medal is issued by the Societyand will be presented at the next AustralianEarth Sciences Convention in Newcastle,NSW (7–10 July 2014). The Hobbs and Powellmedals are awarded by the Specialist Groupat the next SGTSG meeting in Thredbo, NSW(2–8 February 2014). Nominations are due by31 August 2013.
