The Bethesda Alcohol and Drug Treatment Program first 

performs a thorough assessment with the individual, of his 

or her alcohol and drug use and related problems, and then 

determines if there is the need for treatment and recommends 

a plan for that treatment. 

Individuals who are at risk of losing their families, careers, health 

and themselves are provided an opportunity to learn how to 

overcome their alcohol and drug disorder, restore their lives and 

maintain their recovery. Endorsed by the State Medical Board of 

Ohio for physician assessment referral, non-physician assessments, 

intensive outpatient treatment, and continuing care.

A team of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and 

hematologists, as well as allied health professionals provide 

patients the best quality care. Unified staff provides treatment at 

locations throughout Cincinnati. 

Radiation therapy professionals use state-of-the-art technology, 

such as high-dose radiation (HDR) and intensity-modulated 

radiation therapy (IMRT) for early diagnosis and the best

Safety Rocks Preschool program: This program is geared toward 

child-care facilities in the Greater Cincinnati and Kiwanis 

catchment areas. Preschool-aged children learn about safety in 

a fun and interactive format designed for their developmental 

level. Funding provided by Duke Energy and Southwest Ohio 

Kiwanis for kids. 

ThinkFirst Violence Prevention Initiative: This is a violence 

prevention and conflict resolution education program that takes 

place over four sessions and includes: incentives for parental involvement, 

rewards for student participation, asset development 

education, conflict resolution/weapon safety education/problem 

solving, interaction with an individual who has sustained a 

weapon-related traumatic injury, integration of health concepts 

related to violent injury prevention and incorporation of local 

after-school resources. 

Helmets are Cool Cincinnati: This program was started more 

than ten years ago by TriHealth ThinkFirst. In a partnership with 

Greater Cincinnati SAFE KIDS Coalition, helmets are provided to 

lower-income children at a reduced cost through the hospital 

gift shops and local pediatrician offices.
