2012 MOUNTAIN DEWGATOR CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONALMEET DATE: Saturday, September 15 th , 2012LOCATION:University of Florida Golf Course2800 SW 2 nd AvenueGainesville, FLSCHEDULE: 7:55 am Intercollegiate / College Open – Men 8k8:30 am Intercollegiate/College Open – Women 5k9:05 am Varsity HS Boys – 5000 meters9:35 am Varsity HS Girls – 5000 meters10:05 am Junior Varsity HS Boys – 5000 meters10:35 am Junior Varsity HS Girls – 5000 metersAll runners who do not finish their race within 30 minutes will be pulledfrom the course prior to the start of the next race.COURSE:ENTRY LIMITATIONS:On grass, rolling hills – up to ¼” spikes or racing flats recommended.High School – maximum of seven (7) runners per school may participate ineach race. Unlimited runner’s in JV race.- The first five- (5) finishers per school will comprise team score.- The intercollegiate/college division has no limitations to the number ofrunners.ENTRY INFORMATION:All high school and college entries must be submitted through DirectAthletics. This meet has been approved by the FHSAA.No high school athletes are permitted to run in the college races due toNCAA rules.High Schools participating must be in good standing with their respectiveHigh School Activities Association.All intercollegiate athletes from all universities, colleges, junior colleges must bein good standing in their association.COURSE INSPECTION/WARMUP: The course will be open for warm-ups beginning Saturday, September 15 th at6:30AM. Runners must always stay off greens and tees. DO NOT ATTEMPTTO RUN COURSE BEFORE SATURDAY. ANYONE CAUGHT ON THECOURSE PRIOR TO OPENING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RACE.Course maps will be available September 15 th at packet pick-up starting at6:30AM. They will also be available on line at www.gatorzone.comPARKING:Parking at the Golf Course is limited. Team buses and cars must park at TheGainesville Women’s Club, 2809 W. University Ave. ALL CARS MUST BEREMOVED FROM THIS LOT BY 1PM.Spectator Parking is at the Law School (corner of Village Drive and SW 2 ndAve.)Do not park along 2 ND Avenue. The police will tow your vehicle!!!DRESSING FACILITIES:FOR FURTHER INFORMATION:There are NO dressing or shower facilities available at the Golf course.Athletes will not be permitted in the Clubhouse.
