In attendance shall be a Certified <strong>Key</strong>System Specialist”.Administrative documents should be reviewedand executed at this meeting.Delivery, Storage and Handling;• The delivery & storage of the permanent cylinders,cores, keys, key control software.Extra Material;• Consideration should be given to include additionalpermanent cylinders, key blanks and key cuttingequipment, etc.Part 2 – Product<strong>Key</strong>ing: (<strong>Corbin</strong> <strong>Russwin</strong> <strong>Access</strong> 3)All cylinders shall be <strong>Access</strong> 3 by <strong>Corbin</strong> <strong>Russwin</strong>. Provide utilitypatented cylinders that require the use of a patented controlledkey. Provide bump resistant fixed core mortise and rim cylindersstandard. Except where otherwise specified all locksets, exitdevices and cylinders shall be of the same manufacturer. Providerecessed cylinder collars for all mortise and rim cylinders. Establisha new multilevel factory designed secured master key system forthis project that will meet the owners requirements for thisproject and future expansion. All keying shall be done at thefactory where permanent records will be established andmaintained. Manufacturer to have a minimum of 10 yearsexperience designing secured master key systems and have apublished security policy.Provide a 6 pin multilevel master key system which is comprisedof patented controlled keys, security and high security cylindersthat can all be operated by ONE key of the highest level.Geographical exclusivity shall be provided for all security andhigh security cylinders. Provide certified cylinders meetingANSI/BHMA A156.5-2010 Grade 1. Provide mortise, rim, LFIC andkey-in-lever cylinders certified to UL437 where specified.Provide construction master keying for all fixed core cylinders.Provide temporary keyed cores for all large formatedinterchangeable core cylinders. Permanent keys and cores areto be delivered directly to the owner or owner’s representative.Provide nickel silver keys with industry standard Visual <strong>Key</strong>Control stamping on the bow only for each permanent cut key.Furnish keys in the following quantities.• 1 each top master key for the system(s)• 4 each Change keys per cylinder or 10 keys per keyedalike group• 2 each Control keys (if required)• 2 each Master keys per master key group and/or selectivemaster key• 2 each Construction control keys (if required)• 12 each Construction keys• Provide 1 copy of bitting list to the ownerWhere specified AP; provide utility patented controlled keywaycylinders that are furnished with patented keys that are onlyavailable from authorized distribution. Provide bump resistantfixed core mortise and rim cylinders standard. Where specifiedAS; provide utility patented controlled keyway and side barlocking incorporating unique angled bottom pins that provideend users with geographical exclusivity. Cylinders shall beconstructed to provide protection against bumping and picking.Where specified AHS; provide utility patented controlled keywayand side bar locking incorporating unique angled bottom pinsthat provide end users with geographical exclusivity. Cylindersshall be constructed to provide protection against bumping,picking and drilling. Provide mortise, rim, LFIC and key-in-levercylinders certified to UL437.Specified manufacturer <strong>Corbin</strong> <strong>Russwin</strong> <strong>Access</strong> 3 <strong>Key</strong> Control• Specify <strong>Key</strong> Wizard software.Part 3 – ExecutionCare should be taken to identify the required process of turningover a patented locking system to the owner.1945269-8/13
