PREPARATION OF TRUCK FOR INSTALLATION OF AIR CONDITIONER UNIT.1. Disconnect batteries.2. Remove glove compartment and center dash panel. (Save parts and screws). See Figure 2.3. Disconnect flex hose from right side of heater unit and move it out of the way.4. Remove tool compartment door by drilling out (4) rivets (discard door). See Figure 2.5. Remove bracket located on tool compartment floor (1987-on model vehicles). Cut holes in toolcompartment floor using template provided.
