Thiskit contains material for one downspout entrance.ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD. Disconnect all powerbefore installing or servicing heating cable andaccessories. A qualified person must performinstallation and service of heating cable andaccessories. Heating cable must be effectivelygrounded in accordance with the NationalElectrical Code. Failure to comply can result inpersonal injury or property damage.Note: All electrical wiring, including GFCI (Ground Fault CircuitInterrupters), must be done according to National Electrical orlocal codes by a qualified person.1. Place the split grommet around the heating cable where thedownspout hanger will be placed.INSTALLATION2. The wire hanger has a 180˚ hairpin bend at one end and a loopbend at the other end. Center the hairpin end of the wire hangeralong the grommet. Slide the clamp over the wire hangerand into the bend of the hanger.Figure 23. 4.
