Red baby rose. Plots were arranged in asplit-plot design with three replications. Main plot treatments were paclobutrazol concentration, i.e. 0,500, and 1000 ppm given 2 times a week for 5 weeks. Subplot treatments were growing mediacomposition which consisted of bamboo leaves compost, moss and fresh hull (1:1:1, 1:2:1, 1:3:1), bambooleaves compost and carbonization hull (1:1), and carbonization hull and moss (1:4). The result indicatedthat paclobutrazol at 500 ppm significantly suppressed plant height, but at 1000 ppm the suppression wastoo high that caused lower plant. The best growing media was carbonization hull plus moss (1:4) that tendto increase the flower yield. Optimization of plant growth for potted mini rose was obtain at paclobutrazolconcentration given lower than 500 ppm.167 WASITO, A.Respon tanaman induk klon unggul krisan terhadap ZPT dan frekuensi aplikasi fungisida dalamsistem budi daya lahan terbuka. Asplit-split plot design was used consisted of three factors with three replications. The first factor was fivechrysanthemum promising clones, the second factor was two levels of sodium nitroquaicol growthregulator application (with and without application), and the third factor was two levels of fungicideapplication (once a week and twice a week). The results showed that five promising clones of stock plantwell grew and produced cutting eventhough under outdoor conditions. The promising clones significantlyaffected the number of cutting, cutting weight, cutting diameter, rooting capability and white rustresistance, but not by growth regulator and fungicide application.168 WICAKSANA, N.Pengaruh bokashi dan kalium terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah (Alliumascalonicum L.) kultivar Maja: laporan penelitian. Research was conducted at plastichousesby using a factorial randomized block design consisted of two factors and three replications. Thefirst factor was five combinations of media consisted of: (1) coir dust + rice husk charcoal + stablemanure, (2) coir dust + bamboo leaves compost + rice husk charcoal + stable manure, (3) coir dust + ricehusk charcoal + sand, (4) coir dust + rice husk + rice husk charcoal + stable manure + zeolite and (5) ricehusk + stable manure + soil. The second one was three levels of bulk density (0.4; 0.6 and 0.8 g/cm 3 . Theresearch results showed that the best media for the percentage life of rose seedling and the number ofsprouts was the mixed media consisted of coir dust + rice husk + rice husk charcoal + stable manure +zeolite with 0.6 g/cm 3 (combination 4) followed by mixed media consisted of coir dust + rice huskcharcoal + sand (combination 3). Besides supporting environmentally friendly and natural resourcesconservation, the coir dust as waste product could be used for seedling media, therefore it had added valueand good prospect.F02PLANT PROPAGATION170 ADINUGRAHA, H.A.Penggunaan trubusan setek akar tanaman sukun sebagai bahan setek pucuk. Rooting percentage wereabout 41.67-66.67%. Average of root number was 7 per cuttings. The shoots could be divided into 2 part:first part (top) with average rooting percentage 60% and second part/basal (51.67%).103
