TestimonialsMallory Bailey,New Mexico, USAKenan Kessler,Penn College, USAAt CQUniversity, I’m taking Marketing,Communications, Australian History and OutdoorPursuits Class. In the outdoor pursuits class youdo scuba diving, canoeing, kayaking and sailing, and that’s been the best part!Among the Study Abroad programs at my school,CQUniversity was the one that jumped right offthe page. The coast of Australia has always beenat the top of my list of places to go in the world. When I arrived in Rockhampton, what amazed methe most is the general kindness I see in my peers.I was able to make friends very easily here, whichmakes it unique from the start.Billy Sarandria,Alaska, USA –Exercise and SportScienceErika Santarossa,University of Windsor,Canada –Human MovementScienceI chose to study at CQUniversity in Australia notonly to see the wonderful environment such as,the Great Barrier Reef, but also for the people andculture. Australia has to be the number one placefor accepting and laid back people. When I arrivedhere the first thing I noticed was how outgoingand fun the Australians I met everyday were.I did my second semester of my third year atCQUniversity in Rockhampton, studying HumanMovement Sciences. My main suggestion to anyone going to Australia,is to save some time after you have completedyour semester and see as much of the countryas you can.20 18
