2011 Scholarships
We were also blessed with
another challenge grant for 2011.
The young church responded
to the CYFUSA’s Put5Aside
Campaign by giving $106,000 at
the closing liturgy. The challenge
grant—$100,000—will be used
to “develop and promote young
adult ministries.” CYFUSA provided $7,500 in
scholarships for members to attend the January
2011 Membership Meeting in Albuquerque,
New Mexico.
CYFUSA provides scholarships to youth and to
those who serve them. These scholarships are
distributed on a biennial basis. During the
“odd” years, scholarships are given to the youth.
During the “even” years scholarships are given
to adults to attend the National Conference on
Catholic Youth Ministry. Some of our scholarship
recipients for the National Catholic Youth
Conference are the adult chaperones who must
accompany the youth. Scholarships are available to
diocesan youth ministry leaders every year to assist
them in attending the NFCYM’s annual meeting of
the membership.
Your generosity will make a difference in the lives of the youth as
they embrace a deeper relationship with Christ.
