Irasshaimase(Welcome)Yatai is an Izakaya (Japanese Pub),a place to gather with friends and family to eat and drink at leisure.Dish sizes are not huge but the selection is varied. Aselection of dishes are chosen by your group to share(forgetting the usual western custom of ordering yourown entree and main).The greatest benefits of diningthis way are that you experience a variety of tastes,everyone iseating together, and you can keep ordering and tryingdifferent dishes at your own pace. If something wasparticularly enjoyable just ask the waiting staff to orderagain.
