6. CA DEPLOYMENT SCHEMES6.1 INTRA-BAND CABoth contiguous and non-contiguous intra-band CA cases are being deployed as discussed in thefollowing examples.6.1.1. EXAMPLE OF CONTIGUOUS INTRA-BAND CA USE CASE: CA_41DCA_41D aggregates three DL carriers for enhanced capacity, offering up to 60 MHz of bandwidth. Thecomponent carriers must use the nominal spacing defined in Eq1 in Section 4.3 in order to provideinternal guard bands. Since all component carriers are processed in the same UE receiver, the receivedpower difference between carriers will be limited. The actual DL transmission bandwidth of each 20 MHzcarrier is 18.015 MHz. Figure 14 illustrates this arrangement.FcAggregated Channel Bandwidth, BWchannel_CAFigure 14.
