Stallion AI Services& bolesworthscholarshipThis Scholarship aims to encourage the cryopreservation of the genetics from stallionswho are at their optimum breeding age whilst competing at the highest level with minimuminterruption to their careers.Scholarship:Stallion AI Services will provide 20 FREE doses of frozen UK semen, valid for a maximum of12 months.Eligibility:British Bred or British Domiciled stallions only.Competition:The winning stallion will be the stallion that accumulates the most points across the threeworld ranking classes 3, 15 & 44, which are International Competitions 3, 5 and 11. In theevent of equality, highest placing’s will be taken into account and then clear rounds jumped.Stallion AI Services offers the following package:l All semen collection fees associated with collecting 20 doses of frozen UK semen onlyl All dose fees associated with collecting 20 doses of UK frozen semenl Full livery for the stallion at our semen collection centre for one week only, thereafter a fee of £35.50per day will applyl The cost of Pre-entry health testing is not included and should be arranged with your own vet prior tothe stallions arrival to the centrel Any collections and doses requested by the stallion owner above the agreed 20 will be charged atthe standard rate.l The semen doses collected will be eligible for use within the UK only, exportable semen may becollected at the request of the stallion owner and charged at the standard ratel Storage & distribution not includedIn return for the services offered, Stallion AI Services and the Bolesworth Show JumpingClassic are to be given maximum opportunity for publicity. Stallion AI Services reserve theright to amend the terms and conditions of the scholarship should circumstances beyondtheir control lead to a situation where it is in the interests of the objectives of the scholarshipto do so.22
General Rules and Regulations1) The Organiser referred to in these Rules and Conditions shall hereinafter mean Lake Farm EquestrianEvents LLP, Bolesworth International will hereinafter be referred to as The Show.2) So far as permitted by law the Organiser, its officers, employees and representatives will not be liable toany person whosoever whilst upon, entering, or leaving the Showground for any loss,damage, death injury or accident to persons or property or for lost or stolen items.3) Each Exhibitor must keep the Organiser its officers, employees and representatives fully indemnifiedagainst all losses, actions, costs, claims, demands and expenses arising directly or indirectly out of any act,omission or negligence by him or by any one attending the Show, in connection with his entry or otherwiseexpressly or impliedly with his authority. Therefore, all Exhibitors, Competitors and Owners are stronglyadvised to take out third-party liability insurance. The Organiser cannot advise on policies or their suitabilityand it is the individual’s responsibility to obtain advice wherever necessary. Exhibitors, Owners and Competitorsare personally responsible for ensuring that they take all necessary measures with regard to healthand safety. The attention of exhibitors with stallions is drawn to BSJA Rule 82.21. No member of the BSJAshall allow a stallion for which he is responsible, as owner, lessee, authorised agent, or rider to attend ashow, compete or be prepared to compete, in any show jumping competition without taking adequate precautionsto ensure other horses/ponies, competitors and members of the public are not put at risk of injury.4) The Organisers reserve the right to cancel, add to, or amend any of the Classes in accordance withBSJA rules.5) Signature by the person making the entries shall be deemed to be an acceptance of the Conditionsherein contained.6) JUMPING COMPETITIONS.This event is organised in accordance with the rules of the British Show Jumping Association and the FEI.7) DECLARATIONSDeclarations are required for all classes in the International Arena and Castle Arena. In addition, first and insome cases second classes in the Lake Arena will be drawn order and require declaration. They should bemade not later than 1800 hrs the day before the class.8) SUBSTITUTIONSAre in accordance with BSJA Rules.9) ORDER OF JUMPING.The order of jumping for classes in the International Arena, Castle Arena and the first and in some casessecond classes in the Lake Arena each day, will be drawn. Horses must jump in the order they appear onthe Running Order, which will be posted, unless special permission has been obtained from the Judges.10) STANDARD.When a standard set by the Judges has been reached, any competitor making more than the fixed numberof penalties shall be retired.11) OBJECTIONS.Objections should be made in writing in accordance with BSJA Rule 198. A £100 deposit in cash will berequired per objection.12) VACCINATION AGAINST EQUINE INFLUENZAAll horses at the Show must have a current and valid certificate of vaccination against Equine Influenza.There will be random checking of certificates and any horse or pony found without a valid certificate willnot be permitted to remain on the showground.13) STABLING.Stables may be booked for the duration of the Show at a price of £85.00. Stables must be booked on theentry form. Competitors wishing to check that their stable reservation has been confirmed should contactthe Entries Secretary.23
