CLAiT Advanced has beendesigned to give you a qualification for a broad range of advanced IT skills. In order to achieve a certificatequalification, you will need to achieve three units; the mandatory unit plus two additional optional units. The optionalunits allow you to develop advanced skills in a range of different IT applications. You can also achieve a Diplomaqualification; for this, you will need to achieve five units, the mandatory unit plus four additional optional units.Certification is also available at unit level. Specialist QualificationsCISCO Academy CCNA – Semesters 1, 2, 3, 4 – ICT networking design, installation and maintenanceThe Cisco Networking Academy programme introduces you to networking principles and concepts and includes theoryand practical sessions. Semester 1 includes: a good understanding of the OSI 7 Layer Model, understand TCP/IP andaddressing, Be able to construct a simple network, Be able to troubleshoot a simple network.
