This provides a great focus <strong>and</strong> motivation for pupils to work towards <strong>and</strong> a real sense of priderepresenting their school.The highlight of the secondary events calendar is the Secondary School Games which takes place during National School <strong>Sport</strong> Week in June.More than 600 first <strong>and</strong> second year pupils gather together to compete in 14 sporting activities across Oban <strong>and</strong> Lorn.Holiday ProgrammesEach year we organise holiday programmes across <strong>Argyll</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Bute</strong>. We provide a range of different affordable activities from traditional sportsto dance <strong>and</strong> surfing <strong>and</strong> work with a number of different partners including NHS, <strong>Sport</strong>s Development, Youth Services local sportsclubs/leisure facilities <strong>and</strong> providers.July 31, 2012
