Community leadersand other participants willpartake in discussions concerningthe following subjects: genderroles, rights and obligations ofwomen and young people, sexualand reproductive health, sexualviolence and harassment.A training curriculum addressingkey themes of empowermentand leadership is being developedto strengthen the capacityof the targeted population toparticipate in activities related toaspects of community developmentsuch as water and sanitation,and food production).Another aim is to increase theuse of family planning methodsamong women by providingtraining to teachers and studentsin the upper grades of localschools.
