Martin Herman, conductor<br />
A resident <strong>of</strong> Los Angeles, Martin Herman is an active<br />
conductor, composer and arranger. As an expert on the<br />
Beatles and their various solo projects, and the longtime<br />
music director <strong>of</strong> Classical Mystery Tour, Martin was<br />
commissioned to provide the orchestral transcriptions for<br />
the Live and Let Die show. Martin studied conducting and<br />
composition at Duke University, University <strong>of</strong> Pennsylvania,<br />
University <strong>of</strong> California at Berkeley, and spent two years<br />
in Paris on a Fulbright Grant where he worked as a<br />
composer and conductor with the “New American Music<br />
in Europe” and “American Music Week” festivals.<br />
Tony Kishman, bass guitar, piano, vocals<br />
Actor, singer, and recording artist, Tony Kishman doubles<br />
as featured performer and producer <strong>of</strong> Live and Let Die,<br />
in which he performs the music <strong>of</strong> Paul McCartney. Tony<br />
also developed and stars in the Beatles tribute show<br />
Twist and Shout and starred for six years in Broadway’s<br />
smash hit, Beatlemania. During the 1990’s, Kishman<br />
joined the Classic recording group Wishbone Ash as<br />
bassist and vocalist. Tony also performs in the well<br />
known and highly successful Beatles symphony show,<br />
Classical Mystery Tour.<br />
Jim Owen, rhythm guitar, piano, vocals<br />
Singer, arranger, and musician, Jim Owen was just sixteen when he made his first<br />
pr<strong>of</strong>essional appearance in a Beatles tribute band. By the time he was eighteen,<br />
he was touring internationally with various productions <strong>of</strong> Beatlemania around the<br />
world. In addition to his role in Twist & Shout, Jim stars in the symphonic Beatles<br />
show, Classical Mystery Tour, which he developed and produced, and in Tony<br />
Kishman’s symphonic McCartney review, Live and Let Die. Jim Owen was born and<br />
raised in Huntington Beach, California.<br />
John Merjave, guitar<br />
John Merjave has been singing and playing instruments since he was very young.<br />
He started as a drummer until a high school garage band led him to the guitar which<br />
he has been playing ever since. John Merjave began playing in the Beatles’ tribute<br />
band Liverpool as the George Harrison lead guitar role. He continues to write and<br />
play music with his band 27 West and collaborator Kevin Thomas.<br />
Chris Camilleri, drums, vocals<br />
Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Chris Camilleri started listening to<br />
Beatles records at a young age and, inspired by Ringo, took up the drums, the<br />
instrument to which he has devoted his pr<strong>of</strong>essional career. Chris has played drums<br />
for major classic rock touring artists, including Peter Noone (<strong>of</strong> Herman’s Hermits<br />
fame), Badfinger, Micky Dolenz <strong>of</strong> “<strong>The</strong> Monkees”, Joe Walsh, and other Beatlesera<br />
bands.<br />
