Lammer, MD)Our residency program is among the very best in the country, attracting the best andbrightest medical students in Austria. Many of our residents pursue academic careers. Weare now emphasizing research curricula during residency and Ph.D. programs.The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is actively engaged in research thatranges from basic science to new technologies to clinical applications. In the past severalyears, the Department has expanded and added two important state-of-the art researchfacilities: The MR Center of Excellence <strong>Vienna</strong> (Heads: S. Trattnig, MD and E. Moser, MS,PhD) and The Center for Molecular Imaging and Gender Imaging (Head: T. Helbich, MD,MSc, MBA).
