Remove the plastic coated aluminium tape and the pair screen conductors.Notice that the wires is marked with numbers 1 to 8. Cable #8 is not used for thisapplication, and can therefore safely be removed.5.4.3 Wiper Control PanelThe 12170 series wiper control panel is connected directly to the to the wiper/wipergroup with a termination like that of the ECU.The 12160 series wiper control panel is connected to the ECU through a Cat.5 FTP datacommunication cable.
