Vintage motorcycles/scooters registered under the Revised Vintage Vehicle Scheme arerestricted up to a maximum <strong>of</strong> 45 days (inclusive <strong>of</strong> weekends <strong>and</strong> public holidays) <strong>of</strong> usage percalendar year. Day Licences can be purchased in advance or <strong>on</strong> the day <strong>of</strong> usage from LTA,Customer Service Centre at 10 Sin Ming Drive, Singapore 575701. The first 28 Day Licencescost $10 each. The remaining 17 Day Licences cost $20 each.16. If a revised <strong>vintage</strong> motorcycle/scooter is registered after 1 January <strong>and</strong> the remainingdays <strong>of</strong> the calendar year is less than 45 days, the number <strong>of</strong> Day Licences allowed to bepurchased will be capped to the number <strong>of</strong> remaining days (e.g. if a revised <strong>vintage</strong>motorcycle/scooter is registered <strong>on</strong> 1 December, the owner will be able to buy up to 28 DayLicences at $10 per licence <strong>and</strong> 3 Day Licences at $20 per licence).17. Original documents (i.e. Insurance Cover Note or Insurance Certificate) substantiatingthat the <strong>vintage</strong> motorcycle/scooter has valid insurance coverage for the entire road tax periodwhen renewing the road tax <strong>of</strong> a <strong>vintage</strong> (normal) motorcycle/scooter or for the purchasing <strong>of</strong>Day Licence(s) for a revised <strong>vintage</strong> motorcycle/scooter must be produced.18. A valid paper Day Licence must be displayed for each day <strong>of</strong> usage. Days <strong>of</strong> usage areinclusive <strong>of</strong> weekends <strong>and</strong> public holidays. Day Licences are valid for use <strong>on</strong>ly within thecalendar year <strong>of</strong> issuance. Day Licences are n<strong>on</strong>-transferable, n<strong>on</strong>-exchangeable, n<strong>on</strong>-refundable<strong>and</strong> cannot be carried forward to another calendar year.19. Vintage motorcycles/scooters are required to undergo <strong>and</strong> pass vehicle <strong>and</strong> number plateseal inspecti<strong>on</strong> biennially at an LTA-authorised vehicle inspecti<strong>on</strong> centre.20. Vintage motorcycles/scooters cannot be re-registered as other vehicle schemes, such asnormal motorcycles/scooters.21. Vintage motorcycles/scooters cannot be placed under lay-up status.22. A <strong>vintage</strong> motorcycle/scooter must have a valid In-Vehicle Unit (IU) installed <strong>and</strong> acashcard with sufficient m<strong>on</strong>etary value inserted into the IU if the motorcycle/scooter is to beused <strong>on</strong> an Electr<strong>on</strong>ic Road Pricing (ERP)-priced road during the ERP operati<strong>on</strong>al hours.23. The registered owner <strong>of</strong> a revised <strong>vintage</strong> motorcycle/scooter must apply to LTA forapproval before breaking the vehicle number plate seal for repair or for doing other works <strong>on</strong> themotorcycle/scooter.5
