Upon successful registration, a vehicle registration number will be assigned to thevintage motorcycle/scooter, unless either a retained or bid vehicle registration number is used.The vehicle importer may proceed to affix the registration number plates. The number plates formotorcycles/scooters under the Vintage (Normal) Scheme will be of the same format as normalmotorcycles/scooters (i.e. white lettering on a black background). The number plates formotorcycles/scooters under the Revised Vintage Vehicle Scheme will be with white lettering ona red and yellow background, and their number plates must also be sealed at an LTA-authorisedvehicle inspection centre within 7 calendar days from the date of registration.10. Upon successful registration, a letter providing the registration details of the vintagemotorcycle/scooter will be sent to the registered owner.TAXES AND FEES PAYABLEVINTAGE (NORMAL)11. Any person who wishes to register a motorcycle/scooter under the Vintage (Normal)Scheme must first obtain a Certificate of Entitlement (COE) in the Category D vehicle quota.12. The following vehicle fees and taxes will be payable upon registration of a vintage(normal) motorcycle/scooter:Registration Fee = $140Additional Registration Fee* = 15% of OMVCOE= Quota Premium in Category DRoad Tax= Pay per use. Rate follows that of normalmotorcycle/scooter.* Additional Registration Fee may be waived on the condition that the ownership of thevintage motorcycle/scooter is not transferred to another party.REVISED VINTAGE12. Any person who wishes to register a motorcycle/scooter under the Revised VintageVehicle Scheme must pay 10% of the Prevailing Quota Premium (PQP) of the Category Dvehicle quota.13. The following vehicle fees and taxes will be payable upon registration of a revisedvintage motorcycle/scooter:4

Vintage motorcycles/scooters registered under the Revised Vintage Vehicle Scheme arerestricted up to a maximum of 45 days (inclusive of weekends and public holidays) of usage percalendar year. Day Licences can be purchased in advance or on the day of usage from LTA,Customer Service Centre at 10 Sin Ming Drive, Singapore 575701. The first 28 Day Licencescost $10 each. The remaining 17 Day Licences cost $20 each.16. If a revised vintage motorcycle/scooter is registered after 1 January and the remainingdays of the calendar year is less than 45 days, the number of Day Licences allowed to bepurchased will be capped to the number of remaining days (e.g. if a revised vintagemotorcycle/scooter is registered on 1 December, the owner will be able to buy up to 28 DayLicences at $10 per licence and 3 Day Licences at $20 per licence).17. Original documents (i.e. Insurance Cover Note or Insurance Certificate) substantiatingthat the vintage motorcycle/scooter has valid insurance coverage for the entire road tax periodwhen renewing the road tax of a vintage (normal) motorcycle/scooter or for the purchasing ofDay Licence(s) for a revised vintage motorcycle/scooter must be produced.18. A valid paper Day Licence must be displayed for each day of usage. Days of usage areinclusive of weekends and public holidays. Day Licences are valid for use only within thecalendar year of issuance. Day Licences are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-refundableand cannot be carried forward to another calendar year.19. Vintage motorcycles/scooters are required to undergo and pass vehicle and number plateseal inspection biennially at an LTA-authorised vehicle inspection centre.20. Vintage motorcycles/scooters cannot be re-registered as other vehicle schemes, such asnormal motorcycles/scooters.21. Vintage motorcycles/scooters cannot be placed under lay-up status.22. A vintage motorcycle/scooter must have a valid In-Vehicle Unit (IU) installed and acashcard with sufficient monetary value inserted into the IU if the motorcycle/scooter is to beused on an Electronic Road Pricing (ERP)-priced road during the ERP operational hours.23. The registered owner of a revised vintage motorcycle/scooter must apply to LTA forapproval before breaking the vehicle number plate seal for repair or for doing other works on themotorcycle/scooter.5
