“I was in 9th grade when I visited anautopsy laboratory as part <strong>of</strong> a field trip,”says Nykia Henderson, a native <strong>of</strong>Spartanburg, remembering the beyondthe-classroomexperience that allowedher to find her calling in life. “That wasthe moment when I decided to be a nurse.And USC <strong>Upstate</strong> has been an amazingexperience.
