HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA (2012)PRODUCTION NOTESMurdocca has over ten years of visual effects <strong>production</strong> credits. In 1997 she served asa visual effects producer on Wolfgang Peterson’s Air Force One. In 1996 Murdoccajoined VIFX (now Rhythm & Hues) as an executive producer for digital imaging. Sheoversaw <strong>production</strong> on the visual effects of The Relic and Switchback and pre-producedVolcano, Jingle All the Way, and the television miniseries “The Shining.” During hertenure at Boss Film Studios, Murdocca was instrumental in building their visual effectsdepartment from 10 to 100 artists and in the process received digital effects <strong>production</strong>manager credits on Species, Multiplicity, Outbreak, True Lies, and Drop Zone. Shebegan her career in 1988 at Videocraft Film & Tape in Boston, where she producedcommercials, documentaries, industrials and corporate videos.Originally from New City, New York, Murdocca is a graduate of Roger WilliamsUniversity in Bristol, Rhode Island and holds a degree in Psychology.PETER BAYNHAM (Screenplay by) is an acclaimed screen and television writer andproducer, whose credits include the hit comedy Borat: Cultural Learnings of America forMake Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, for which he earned Academy Award ® andWriters Guild Award nominations for Best Adapted Screenplay. The film was alsonominated for a Golden Globe for Best Musical or Comedy and was on the AmericanFilm Institute’s 2006 Best Movies list. Baynham also co-produced and wrote the storyfor “Bruno,” its successful follow up. He co-wrote (with director Sarah Smith) andexecutive produced Sony Pictures/Aardman Animation’s acclaimed international hitanimated feature Arthur Christmas. The movie, nominated for Golden Globe, BAFTAand Annie Awards, received was the Rotten Tomatoes critic website’s best-reviewedanimated movie of 2012, receiving an incredible 93% rating.Baynham’s television credits include writing two seasons of the BBC’s criticallyacclaimed, extremely popular “I’m Alan Partridge,” starring Steve Coogan. The showwon a British Comedy Award and Baynham received a BAFTA Award for Best Series.He also received a BAFTA Best Comedy Series nomination as co-writer of BBC 2’s© 2012 Sony Pictures Animation 39
