When measuring radial internal clearance, a slight amount <strong>of</strong> elastic deformation <strong>of</strong> the bearing occurs. The resulting measured clearance is slightly larger than<br />

the true clearance, <strong>and</strong> must be accounted for. These compensation values are given in tables 19 <strong>and</strong> 19-A.<br />
