456016. Old BusinessDr. Otto, Mr. Subers and Mr. Potts have worked on a Lease for the <strong>Daniel</strong> <strong>Boone</strong>Joint Committee Concession Stand. After discussion by the <strong>Board</strong>, they decided to voteon the Lease Agreement.It was moved by Mr. Potts, seconded by Mrs. Fiset that the <strong>Board</strong> of Directors approve aLease Agreement with the <strong>Daniel</strong> <strong>Boone</strong> Music Boosters and the <strong>Daniel</strong> <strong>Boone</strong> <strong>Area</strong><strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong> and later as a gift a certain Modular Building to be used at the stadium asa concession stand.Ayes:Nays:Mr. Potts, Mr. Ross, Mr. Sheehan, Ms. Twardowski, Mr. Basile, Mr. Cerminaro,Mrs. Fiset, Mrs. Hartzell, Mr. McCullough.None. New BusinessMr. Basile discussed money from the General Fund Balance for deficits and thepossibility of a Tax Revenue Anticipation Note or a Short Term Loan for a six monthperiod that is needed for cash flow. He also spoke about a four-year Budget anddiscussed our Liabilities. The last item he spoke about was a possible Transportation Feerather than a Co-curricular Fee for students. Mr. Basile noted he is willing to come intothe Business Office and offer his assistance.18. Presentation by Public on IssuesJoseph Strauss – Birdsboro, voiced his concerns on a recent bussing letter sent to houseregarding that there would be not bus transportation for his school student with the20<strong>10</strong>-11 school year.Mike Wolfe – Birdsboro, voiced his concerns on the new proposed route for high schoolwalkers for the 20<strong>10</strong>-11 school year. Asked <strong>District</strong> to re-study the route.Aaron Durso – Birdsboro, asked why the <strong>District</strong> did not check with the Borough ofBirdsboro before they made the decision on the walking route for high schoolstudents.Rich Grove – Birdsboro, noted that his house is 2 miles from the high school and thatthe district will have 50 more cars dropping off students at the high school (inreference to walking students for 20<strong>10</strong>-11).Edward Kriner – Birdsboro, spoke briefly about his child’s IEP and custody. He wasasked to contact the Superintendent directly.


4561Connor Kutz – Douglassville, had several concerns, including tattered flags outside of theMiddle <strong>School</strong> and T.V.’s in the cafeteria.Todd Baskett – Birdsboro, thanked the <strong>School</strong> <strong>Board</strong> for their hard work, but felt that the<strong>Board</strong> missed their mark with safety concerns on the new route for high schoolwalking students. Asked if Amity students were also asked to walk.Wendy Stephany – Douglassville, asked the <strong>Board</strong> to re-look at the transportation issue.Leana Stead – Birdsboro, voiced that she is not happy with the new high school studentswalking situation, she feels it is to dangerous.Stephen Morton – Birdsboro, noted that he is not happy with the high school studentswalking and their safety.Chris Rothharpt – Birdsboro, noted that the high school students could have a 45 minutewalk in the morning and possibly in the dark.19.
