The leading global share registry serviceprovider has acquired acciontec GmbH, a specialist for registered shares, with effect from 1 September2005. The two companies announced the news today. Together, <strong>Computershare</strong> and acciontec manageclose to 60 share registers, which is over 60 percent of all registered share issuers listed on German stockexchanges.Stock corporations of all sizes – small and mid caps as well as companies with international listings orglobal share registers – benefit from the expertise and the extensive network offered by this globally activeprovider of issuer services. In addition, the company's share register platform and integrated investorrelations tool CARE are setting new standards in shareholder communication. In the past, services werefocused exclusively on the efficient management of shareholder data.
