So in thetime <strong>of</strong> economic stress people used to depend upon these informal arrangements to cope up thedistress situation. Peoplewere also able to source credit fromthe traders who were willing toextend financial supportconsidering the <strong>NTFP</strong> potential <strong>of</strong>the area and considering the control<strong>of</strong> people over their resources.
