Dog Registration and Dog Impounding Fees are imposed under the Dog Control Act. Impoundingfees and droving charges are imposed under the Impounding Act 1955. The fees and charges arenecessary to recover the cost to Palmerston North City Council of providing animal control services.All fees and charges shown are GST inclusive.In terms of the Dog Control Act, the fees are effective from 1 July 2013. In terms of the ImpoundingAct 1955, the fees are effective from 27 May 2013.Fixed FeesThese charges cover the standard cost to Council in undertaking the work listed.
