Bill Howard's letter brought a chuckle on agloomy fall day: "I am still working at the UnionMemorial Hospital in Baltimore doing generalsurgery and sports medicine. This is fortunatesince the latest addition to my tribe, AnneWallace, arrived last January. I am still activelyplaying rugby with the Baltimore County Rugbyteam, proving once again that old age andtreachery will always triumph over youth andskill. Our team just returned from a two weektour of Ireland, Wales and England where wecompeted well in the games but were badly outclassedin the parties. After a successful kidneytransplant operation in 1967, Harry left thefamily mining exploration busines and went intoconstruction management in St. Augustine,Florida. From 1976 to 1979, he was with aconcrete products firm in Hawaii where he metand married Newell Rogers Harper. Their twoyearold daughter Hannah, say Harry, may be afuture St. Andrean. Harry's oldest daughterMollie graduated from the University of orthCarolina, lives in Chapel Hill and is in sales forSouthern Bell Telephone. His daughter Ginnyand son Harry III are both juniors at theUniversity of North Carolina. Each year theentire clan gathers at Squam Lake in NewHampshire, and two years ago they were joinedby Connie and Dave Lindsay ('51). The Rothssold their house in the woods (including yardequipment, boat and one car), and purchased atown house in Houston within two miles ofHenry's office. Althoug not native Texans, theyare delighted to return to the state in which theylived for 12 ¥ears before moving to Atlanta sixyears ago.
