FOLIAR FERTILIZER APPLICATIONApplication rates are only for the crops listed below. Forrecommendations regarding crops not listed, contact your localfluid fertilizer dealer or your <strong>Tessenderlo</strong> <strong>Kerley</strong> representative.Trisert-<strong>KS</strong> may be applied by ground or air. Trisert-<strong>KS</strong> containstriazone based slow-release liquid nitrogen to improve the foliarabsorption of potassium and sulfur.By air:Apply Trisert-<strong>KS</strong> in 4 to 10 gallons of water spray solutionper acre.For ground application:Apply Trisert-<strong>KS</strong> in enough water for good coverage, usuallyabout 20 gallons of water per acre for mature row crops.Apply early in the morning or late in the evening for betterleaf absorption.Canola:Apply 2 to 4 quarts per acre from bud to bolting stage.Corn:Apply 2 to 3 quarts per acre prior to tasseling, repeat in 10to 14 days.Cotton:Apply 8 to 10 quarts per acre beginning at first bloom, repeatin 10 to 14 days.Cucumbers:Apply 4 to 6 quarts per acre beginning at flower initiation,repeat in 10 to 14 days.Dry Beans:Apply 2 to 4 quarts per acre beginning at early bloom, repeatin 7 to 10 days.Potatoes:Apply 2 to 4 quarts per acre beginning at tuber initiation,apply second application in 2 to 3 weeks and third applicationduring tuber bulking.Rice:Apply 6 to 8 quarts per acre at panicle initiation.Small Grains:Apply 2 to 4 quarts per acre beginning at tillering to flag leafstage.Soybeans:Apply 8 to 10 quarts per acre at early bloom.Sugarbeets:Apply 6 to 8 quarts per acre prior to row canopy closing.Alfalfa:Apply 4 to 6 quarts per acre at crown green up or aftercutting.Peas and Lentils:Apply 4 to 6 quarts per acre between late bud stage and10% bloom.Tomatoes:Apply 2 to 3 quarts per acre beginning at fruit set, repeatevery 7 to 10 days.Apples, Apricots, Almonds, Citrus, Pecans:Apply Trisert-<strong>KS</strong> at 2 to 6 quarts per acre in a minimum of100 gallons of water spray solution. Forconcentrated sprays of less than 100 gallons per acre, reducethe rate of Trisert-<strong>KS</strong> to stay within the recommended solutionratio (i.e., 50 gallons of water per acre equals 1 to 3 quarts ofTrisert-<strong>KS</strong> per acre).Vines:Begin 2 weeks after bloom. Apply 2 to 4 quarts of Trisert-<strong>KS</strong> per acre in a minimum of 50 gallons of water.
