40111 The plaintiffs and other class members suffered psychiatric injury as aconsequence of suffering physical injuries, including the inhalation of noxiousfumes and as a consequence of suffering property damage112. The plaintiffs and other class members will continue to suffer psychological injuryand emotional upset flowing from the explosion and fire for the foreseeablefuture113, The plaintiffs and other class members also suffered inconvenience andemotional distress as a result of being evacuated from their homes'B. Pecuniary Damages114, The expiosions and fire resuitecin damage to the properties owned andoccupied by the plaintiffs and other class members There has been damage tothe properties as a consequence of the explosions and fire, including damage tobuildings and damage to and loss of contents,11b. As a further consequence of the explosions and fire, the properties of theplaintiffs and other class members have likely been contaminated by debris,noxious fumes, and other chemicals released by the Facility. The plaintiffs andother class members will have to incur the costs of testing their property forcontamination and the cost of the remediation of the property if contaminated.
