Fundamental Courses (FC)This part of the Master’s Program comprises 12 ECTS, which are given during the first term. They are related to key elements of space systems, covering the space and ground segments andincluding a specific treatment of the communication channel in between. Specialized Courses (SC)Specialized Courses comprises four subjects with 4 ECTS each one, selected among five offered, which are givenduring the third term. These courses are aimed at those who wish to gain an understanding in key markets of spaceengineering. Systems involved and services developed by means of those are studied. A course on satellite operationshas also been included.SCSCSatellite Communications4 ECTSCourse focused on satellite communication systems andservices provided, with special emphasis on broadbandcommunicationsSNSCSatellite Navigation4 ECTSCourse focused on satellite navigation systems andservices provided, with special emphasis on GALILEORSSCRemote Sensing4 ECTSCourse focused on satellite remote sensing and servicesprovides, with special emphasis on GMESSMSCScientific Missions4 ECTSCourse focused on space scientific missions and thetechnology involved, with special emphasis oninstrumentationSOSCSatellite Operations4 ECTSThis course is involved with the activities related to spacemission operations, including every space segmentsubsystemMaster Project (MP)When possible, it will consist on a work period at a participating company to carry out a real project. This activitywill be done under the supervision of a senior engineer in the facilities of the company. The topic for this project willbe decided by agreement between the student, the supervisor in the participating company and the student’s tutor.It comprises a total of 12 ECTS to be realized at the end of the Master.
