EdHanke, Marj Smith, Ed Cameron, EricCollyer, Graeme Morrison and PeterThiele, who are all former studentsfrom the 1920s, 30s and 40s, willofficially declare the day ‘open’.A concert, depicting music over 150years and showcasing the talents ofour students, will include:• Advance Australia Fair - all students• ‘God Save the Queen’ - all students• ‘Kookaburra Song’ - Foundationstudents• Cultural Dance performance -Foundation students• ‘he Vegemite Song’ - Foundation toLevel 3 students• ‘Land Down Under’ - Level 4 to Level6 students• ‘Botany Bay’ - all students• ‘Home Among the Gum Trees’ - allstudents• ‘You're the Voice’ - all studentsAt the conclusion of our concert, wewill unveil our first batch of‘Sesquicentennial pavers’.Events planned for the day, from3.45pm, include:• Rides - Cha Cha and Merry-Go-Round• Giant Slide• Jumping Castle• ‘Bushwahzee’ entertainment• Releasing the Monarch Butterflies at5pm• Student performances from 5.30pm• Guess the Teacher photographs• Fun and Games with ‘Andy’s Antics’• Re-enactment Group, with artefactsfrom the 1860s• Memorabilia• Cake Stalls• Sausage Sizzle• Assorted Food and Drink VansPage 2On the last page of this week’s Bulletinis a Celebration Day map, withlocations of all activities. Please bringit with you on the day, as this willensure that you visit every activity andstall!Children can pre-order their tickets forrides now! The cost for 6 tickets is just$20. The children will receive awristband on the morning of theCelebration Day and they can use their6 turns as they wish, for the Cha Cha,Merry-Go-Round, Slide and JumpingCastle! Staff will stamp their wristbandat each ride.Tickets will also be available topurchase on the day, at $4 per ride.Ordering a wristband means you getone ride for free!A reply slip is attached to thisnewsletter. Please complete andreturn, with payment, by Wednesday20th March.As part of our 150 Year Celebrations,families, both past and present, arealso invited to ‘Adopt a MonarchButterfly’ or contribute a paver to the‘Walk of Pride’.
