Tell your doctor if you notice anyof the follow<strong>in</strong>g and they worryyou:* tiredness, exhaustion* dizz<strong>in</strong>ess* headache* sleep d<strong>is</strong>turbances* nausea, vomit<strong>in</strong>g* diarrhoea, constipation* coldness or numbness <strong>in</strong> thehands or feet.These are the more common sideeffects of <strong>Bicor</strong>. Most of them aremild and usually occur at thebeg<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g of therapy, oftend<strong>is</strong>appear<strong>in</strong>g with<strong>in</strong> 1 to 2 weeks.Tell your doctor as soon as possibleif you notice any of the follow<strong>in</strong>g:* muscular weakness or cramps* dizz<strong>in</strong>ess or lightheadedness(sometimes with fa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>g),especially on stand<strong>in</strong>g up, whichmay be due to low blood pressure* a very slow heart beat* halluc<strong>in</strong>ations* depression* sk<strong>in</strong> reactions such as rash,itch<strong>in</strong>g, worsen<strong>in</strong>g of psorias<strong>is</strong>* difficulty hear<strong>in</strong>g.These are rare yet serious sideeffects.Tell your doctor immediately or goto Accident and Emergency at thenearest hospital if you notice any ofthe follow<strong>in</strong>g:* swell<strong>in</strong>g of the face, lips, tonguethroat which may cause difficultybreath<strong>in</strong>g or swallow<strong>in</strong>g* signs of worsen<strong>in</strong>g heart failuresuch as shortness of breath,sometimes with tiredness orweakness, swell<strong>in</strong>g of the feet orlegs due to fluid build up* chest tightness, wheez<strong>in</strong>g, rattlybreath<strong>in</strong>g* yellow<strong>in</strong>g of the sk<strong>in</strong> or eyes,dark coloured ur<strong>in</strong>e, itch<strong>in</strong>g,generally feel<strong>in</strong>g unwell* constant "flu-like" symptomssuch as fever, sore throat, lack ofenergy* irregular heart beat<strong>in</strong>g.These are very serious butuncommon side effects. You mayneed urgent medical attention orhospital<strong>is</strong>ation.Other side effects not l<strong>is</strong>ted abovemay also occur <strong>in</strong> some patients.Tell your doctor if you noticeanyth<strong>in</strong>g that <strong>is</strong> mak<strong>in</strong>g you feelunwell.After tak<strong>in</strong>g <strong>Bicor</strong>StorageKeep <strong>Bicor</strong> where children cannotreach it.A locked cupboard at leastone-and-a-half metres above theground <strong>is</strong> a good place to storemedic<strong>in</strong>es.Keep your tablets <strong>in</strong> the bl<strong>is</strong>terpack until it <strong>is</strong> time to take them.If you take the tablets out of thebl<strong>is</strong>ter pack they may not keep well.Keep your tablets <strong>in</strong> a cool dryplace.<strong>Bicor</strong> 1.25 mg (Starter Pack) and 2.5mg should be stored below 25degrees C.<strong>Bicor</strong> 5 mg, and 10 mg should bestored below 30 degrees C.Do not store <strong>Bicor</strong> or any othermedic<strong>in</strong>e <strong>in</strong> the bathroom or near as<strong>in</strong>k.Do not leave <strong>Bicor</strong> <strong>in</strong> the car or onw<strong>in</strong>dow sills.Heat and dampness can destroy somemedic<strong>in</strong>es.D<strong>is</strong>posalIf your doctor tells you to stoptak<strong>in</strong>g <strong>Bicor</strong>, or your tablets havepassed their expiry date, ask yourpharmac<strong>is</strong>t what to do with anythat are left over.Product description<strong>What</strong> it looks like<strong>Bicor</strong> comes <strong>in</strong> 4 strengths of tablets:* <strong>Bicor</strong> 1.25 mg (Starter Pack) -off-white, round film-coatedtablet* <strong>Bicor</strong> 2.5 mg - off-white,heart-shaped, film-coated tabletwith a divid<strong>in</strong>g score on bothsides* <strong>Bicor</strong> 5 mg - light yellow,heart-shaped, film-coated tabletwith a divid<strong>in</strong>g score on bothsides* <strong>Bicor</strong> 10 mg - light orange,heart-shaped, film-coated tabletwith a divid<strong>in</strong>g score on bothsides<strong>Bicor</strong> 1.25 mg comes <strong>in</strong> pack of 10tablets.
