Number of Airconditioners awarded for Annual MaintenanceContract.Contd P..2---P-2---The following shall be the Terms and conditions for awarding the contract :1. The Contractor is required to submit as Security Deposit ,a Pay Order/Demand Draft for Rs 25,000/-,drawn in favour of ‘DDO (Hqrs) Finance” payable atDelhi,which shall be refunded to the Contractor at the end of the Contract period,subject to the fulfillment of the terms and Conditions of Contract2. The quotation must be accompanied with Sales-tax certificate and WorksContract certificate.3. The Contractor will provide minimum four services including one wetand three dry service within the year. Besides this, the contractor will make regularinspection and render maintenance services during normal working hours and will alsoattend to complaints as and when required. He will also be required to maintain anInspection register which will be countersigned by the user officer.4. All the ACs shall be serviced quarterly during which the heating/coolingelements would be cleaned with a cleaner of standard make.5. The contractor will depute two of its service personnel for maintenanceand service for every fifty nos. Of ACs. The service personnel will report daily to theDCIT(HQ)(Admn.)/I.T.O.(Welfare) & Security),CRB to attend complaints, etc.6. The contractor will have to make monthly regular inspection and rendermaintenance services during normal working hours in a manner which does not hinderthe normal working of the office. An Inspection register shall be maintained by thecompany which shall be duly countersigned by the concerned officer every month. Thisregister shall be produced by the company for verification whenever desired by thecustomer. Inspection register, duly countersigned by the user officer/section will beproduced for verification before the payment is released.7. The rates may be quoted for comprehensive annual maintenanceservices.8. After every services/repair, the contractor should produce a“Satisfactory work done” certificate from the user officer/official concerned.9. In case of default by the Contractor, the department will be at liberty tohave the work done from any other party and the contractor will be liable for its costthereon.10. The contractor will be required to provide sufficient number of mechanicswho will attend to all the complaints on the spot. All defects will have to be attended toimmediately. Every defect as pointed out by the user officer should be rectified within24 hours failing which, a penalty of Rs. 100/- per day or actual expenses incurred to
